Maeve’s, Woodbridge

When you visit Maeve's, you can be sure of a warm welcome. Open seven days a week, our family-run café has been rooted on the Thoroughfare since August 2023.

When you enter, you'll be greeted with a wide selection of homemade cakes, pastries, and drinks, all ready to tempt your taste buds, along with our varied food menu. From breakfast to brunch and lunch, our menus have been carefully crafted to offer the finest cuisine, using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We have a crew of talented baristas, serving the best coffee, using La Marzocco and the finest coffee beans from Crude Coffee in Bury St Edmunds

We’re dog-friendly too, so whether you’ve enjoyed a walk along the riverside or doing a spot of shopping, your four-legged friend can enjoy the ambience of Maeve’s.

Our courtyard garden is perfect for those who like to dine alfresco, while our large windows to the front offer a great place to watch the world go by while enjoying a drink and some food.

SmallTown, Clare

SmallTown is a friends-owned cafe and bakery, brought about in 2021 by childhood buddy’s, Ben and Ed, who share a love of good coffee and good bread. Living close by to their childhood homes in lockdown led to the joint realisation that small towns often seemed to be deprived of great places to grab a coffee, a loaf of bread and somewhere to gather.

Fast forward to 2025, and our original cafe in Clare (Suffolk’s smallest town), is a key part of the community. Locals and visitors alike gather knowing they can get exceptionally brewed coffee, freshly baked sourdough and pastries on a daily basis. And this is our aim, pure and simple. To provide you with a few of life’s simplest pleasures - very, very well.
